VIHAN is charitable, secular, Indian, non-profit, non-government voluntary organization (NGVO) of Garhwa, Jharkhand. It serves all the deprived humanity without distinction of race, caste & religion.
The organization empowers a society based on the value of equality, justice, democracy and brotherhood by the valued dedicated volunteer and ideologists of great social leaders of national & international fame. Garhwa district of Jharkhand is well known for recurring droughts & famine and acute migration. The area is marked by poverty, unemployment, illiteracy, ill health, ignorance, child labor, migration & terrorism and naxal influence. The foundation stone of the organization was laid by a group of experienced and energetic people who had the previous history of their association with the social and economic development of the Nation.
All natural social activists had been serving to the deprived community for a very long time. By their mutual efforts and in collaboration with doctors, educationists, farmers, youths, Social animators and ideologists of great social leaders led the foundation of a rural society “VIHAN” on 20Th December, 2001.
